David is responsible for all aspects of Peraton’s quality management system. He leads the quality team responsible for supporting Peraton’s customers with airworthy quality products. David is the quality manager, test supervisor and test director for Peraton’s developed test software, the lead ISO9001:2105 and AS9100 auditor, and the senior technical inspector for customer owned material.
David brings over 40 years of avionics maintenance experience, and over 25 years quality experience. Prior to joining Peraton, David worked with the NATO Flight Training in Canada program, as a civilian member of the RCMP working in operations and at Viking Air, helping built the Twin Otter 400 series aircraft at the Calgary facility. David served 20 years with the Royal Canadian Air Force and has been a technician on the CC129 Dakota, CC130 Hercules, CC109 Cosmopolitan, CP140 Aurora and the CF-18, including the NFTC Hawk Mk 115 training aircraft.
David joined the Canadian Armed Forces Air Division in 1980, and completed his AVS training at Camp Borden, ON, graduating as an integral systems technician. He served at five bases and stations across Canada, completing his career with Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE).
